I can guide and support you. Our ladies can encourage and motivate you. But you must do the hard work needed to change. You must be willing to take on this struggle and fight through it. See it as an adventure, a journey. Not as a quick fix.

We are no longer only about Raw Food. I recommend either a Raw Food or Whole Food low fat, low sodium, low sugar diet. Most of all, my primary goal is helping those who are obese or suffer chronic pain to find a path to lifelong change. Bring your own diet and together we can tweak it for success even if it doesn’t bring fast weight loss.
I’m Carlene, your coach. I started Raw Food Boot Camp in 2005 after losing 136 lbs in 9 months on a raw food diet. Others wanted fast weight loss and were willing to try raw food, so here we are 12 years later with many success stories of fast weight loss and renewed health. But is that enough?
I have paid out thousands of dollars to reward 100 lb Challengers over the years. And while I hate to admit it, few kept the weight off. Why? Because when they got done they wanted to declare they were cured and could back to old ways. I’m not talking leaving raw food. I’m talking all the habits, binges and excuses they used before.
So we had to evolve. It’s not just the diet. Sure our Rawk Starz diet offers fast weight loss, but weight loss is just a part of this. Keeping the weight off is the important part, therefore, that is what obese minded women have to embrace to live the life they want.
There is no cure for obesity. There is only management. Just like diabetes. You can’t cure it, but you can learn to manage it.
We still have a boot camp mindset, but now the focus isn’t on raw food or even fast weight loss, it’s on you. Your final journey to health and well-being.
Don’t get me wrong, we are still very much about raw and whole food diets for health and well being. But they are our weight loss diets and yes, they offer healthy fast weight loss. This is important because the obese need fast weight loss to stay motivated. But as far as Carlene is concerned, fast weight loss or even steady weight loss is a perk.
Fast Weight Loss is Worthless if you aren’t willing to Change
Therefore, you must change your relationship with food. Let us help you come out of the gloom of obesity, long-term overweight or chronic pain and step back into the light of self-esteem. While at times, I may get on a soapbox about excuses women are using to prevent change, there is never any psychoanalyzing or delving into deep past pains. Just straight talk about what it takes to create lifelong change in how we manage our food and health.
Sustainability is more important than fast weight loss, but in the end, health rules supreme!
You do not have to do our fast weight loss Rawk Starz diet or even our super healthy Wholy Rawker diet. You can bring your own diet and together you and I will tweak it to fit RFBC guidelines so you get the loss you want for the effort you are willing to give. Sustainability is the second most important part of a diet, right after its health benefits.
No juicing or water fasting allowed, sorry.

No One Wants to Diet
Dieting for health and well-being, while it sounds like a no-brainer, is hard, especially when you know it’s for life. Making that transition from the idea of restrictive diet to this is my life now brings emotional turmoil, rebellion, and lots of angst. You want to live like everyone else, but your health, your body doesn’t allow it.
At RFBC, we spend each day fighting our desires to eat foods we believe is our right. Members often look around at the thin and healthy and think, it’s unfair. Why do I have to be restrictive with food and do exercise daily when they don’t? Face it, life isn’t fair. At RFBC Member, you will learn that to be thin for life, you must accept your lot in life, as unfair as it may seem.
Your life. Your body. That means, your responsibility.
Most don’t want that responsibility, because they don’t want to admit their obesity is their fault. That is why surgery and drugs and quick fix diets are all the rage. At RFBC you will learn to take on that responsibility without resentment or denial. We face the truth of our relationship with food. Denial no longer works.
Face it. Own it. Change it!
Healthy Food is known to improve health. You know that. Hippocrates knew that: Let food be thy medicine
Doctors know too, but they don’t bother telling us or pushing us because history has shown them that even the most well-intentioned won’t stick to a diet and exercise program that will help them.
That’s where RFBC and Coach Carlene come in. With 12 years of working with women who fight tooth and nail with themselves against making a permanent change, we had to accept the fact that a just do it attitude was not enough. We work on clearing out the food addictive tendencies even the slimmest and healthiest of us have. Our society says being a foodie is the cool thing. Put an ism at the end of your eating habit and belong. Looking for the latest diet, super food, pill or even surgery is better than just settling in and working on a lifetime commitment to healthy eating and daily exercise.
At RFBC we work on us, the inner us. We are not just about fast weight loss.
We don’t dig deep into anyone’s past, we instead look at who we are, who we want to be and what it will take to get there. I will show you there is no such thing as an excuse or rationalization to eat foods that are bad for our bodies, there is only a conscious choice. A second or two of taste or health.
